We were delighted to have Dan play at our son and daughter-in-laws wedding at St Agnes Beacon. He played during the champagne and canapés and everyone enjoyed the beautiful background music which added a lovely ambience but did not detract from conversation.
He was also a pleasure to talk to during the build up to the wedding and was very adaptable in adding some of the couples favourite tunes to his extensive repertoire.
We can certainly recommend him
My first wedding of 2014 was at Trevenna Barns on Bodmin Moor for Jenna and Dan, it was a lovely ceremony and they had these kind words to say –
“I am so happy we hired dan to play at our wedding ceremony. He is absolutely wonderful to work with and delivered exactly what we wanted….relaxed, joyous music to start our celebrations. Dan made our ceremony so magical, all the guests were instantly transfixed. Listening to the guitar playing while I walked down the aisle gave me instant goosebumps. Dan is extremely talented and we would highly recommend him to all our friends and family. All communications with dan were down to earth, professional and he was always quick to respond and offer his own ideas and suggestions.we recommend dan with the highest regards.” (1st February 2014)
I recently played at the launch event of Hodge, Jones and Allen in Cornwall. Partner Rachel Heelis said these kind words.
‘Thank you so so much for your wonderful guitar playing at the offcial launch of HJA Cornwall! It was great to have a mix of Spanish guitar pieces as well as some pop songs and created the exact ambiance we wanted for the Event! We will certainly recommend you to anyone and come to you for future events!’ (24th October 2013)
I was very happy to have been asked to play at John and Emma Reids wedding. Set in the glorious grounds of the historic St Mawes Castle in Cornwall on a beautiful summers day. The happy couple had these kind words to say.
“Dan’s music was the perfect accompaniment to our wedding. He played beautiful versions of the songs we had chosen for him and provided us with gorgeous background music of his own choice. His contribution was subtle but added immeasurably to the feeling of the service. John and Emma Reid” (28th August 2013)
The lovely Becky and Ben were married in the idyllic setting of Cornish tipi holidays in St Kew, Cornwall, I was delighted to play some guitar for them. They had these very lovely words to say.
“Dan Cole’s guitar sounds were the perfect notes to float through the sunshiny field during our wedding. The light and summery music was the most idyllic accompaniment to our Cornish tipi summer ceremony! Dan played a wonderful traditional bridal entrance piece, then a more upbeat piece as we left the pavilion and ended with an hour of varied songs as guests enjoyed sangria and snacks. There was no electricity at the venue, but Dan played happily without an amp and the music sounded wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for more! We would recommend Dan Cole to anyone looking for a musician for their wedding or event!”
“The sounds were a brilliant combination of traditional, whimsical, summery, Mediterranean, folky & modern. Dan made sure his song selections were played to fit the theme of our day perfectly, and reflect what we had requested.”
“He was by far the easiest person to work with during the whole of our wedding planning! He communicated efficiently and in a timely manner, he was open to the requests we had, he was friendly and polite, he showed up where he was meant to at the time we asked, and then on top of all that he made our ceremony and cocktail hour really special by playing such magical music.”
Dan had the pleasure of being asked to play at the very first ever wedding in Penryn’s historic town hall in 2011. The bride Esther had these kinds words to say –
“Having Daniel play at our wedding ceremony made the whole occasion even more special. We didn’t get married in a church so wanted to make the experience intimate, but also feel grand enough for such a significant moment in our lives! Beautifully played guitar music with tracks which were special to us were performed prior to the ceremony as our guests came into the venue. We chose the wedding march for me to walk down the aisle to which was lovely, traditional but very different from it being played on a church organ. Daniel also suggested playing us out with the Recessional Wedding March and ‘God gave rock and fool to you’ – a bit of tongue in cheek for our guests! Being able to choose the music but have it performed live was great and made it very personal to us, so much nicer than having a cd play in the background but much less formal than violinists or a harpist. Daniel was great, he accommodated everything we wanted and is a very skilled musician”.
